Experiment Extremes

Micah wanted to make a funny science show on the computer, but he didn't want it to be here on the blog.  He wanted his own "channel."  So, I started him his own blog and yesterday we posted his first video.  Like this blog, it is "unlisted" so no one will find it by google search or random surfing; you have to know the address to find it.  So, you can click on the title to this post and make your way over to "experiment extremes."  I know he'd like it if you left him a comment on his show.

I realize in the world wide web, this ain't a lot... but my counter is nearing 5,000! (and the blog had a life before the counter started.) So thanks to all of you who come and watch the pics of our kids as they grow and read my ramblings on sharing a parsonage with 2 kids and 2 cats. Who needs a scrapbook when you have blogger?

Pumpkins Again!

Blogger's photo-uploader was misbehaving yesterday, so I snuck that picture-trail show in to get the pics up. But I know you grandparent types wanted the actual pictures so you can save them. Here goes, plus a few more. If you want others, let me know!

We ran into Gabi's friend, Avery, who sits at the pink table with her at Kindergarten.

Babies: Blake & Gabi

We had to dig out an old baby photo of Blake for a project at church, and while I was at it I found one of Gabi at about the same age. Thought it would be fun to compare the two of them! I found a whole stack of Blake's kid/baby pics, so I may post some more in the coming days. Lots of the photos are damaged, so I'm going to try and do some restoration with photoshop, then post them here for posterity. (Yes, Blogger is my form of "saving for posterity"; how nutty is that?)

Cat's Eye Blue and the Re-Do

Is it strange to make your blog match your cat's eyes? Tipper's eyes are #C3D9FF in the whole HTML web color code thing. I thought it matched nicely with the pic in the filmstrip in the header. Which brings me to the real point of this post.... How does the header (the title box at the top w/ the filmstrip picture in it) look on your computer? It looked off in the preview when I was working on it, but I finally got it looking right on my screen. But I think it places it differently for different sized screens. So- is it annoyingly off balance on your computer or in the middle?

And do you like the tags (topical listing on the side) or are they useless? Thanks for any input!
