Gabi has created a unique culinary treat.... toasted celery! Now being served in the backyard. (OK, it's really Lily leaves warmed on the "stove" playset tunnel.)
The wicked stepmother had the children in hard labor this week, swiffering the floors. Gabi, umm.... I mean Cinderella, kept wanting to do more housework! Too bad I didn't grab the camera when she had a bucket and rag and was scrubbing on her hands and knees.
Notice anything different? (LOL) I'm trying to learn HTML so I can personalize this blog, so there may some sudden, strange changes in the days and weeks to come. Wanna weigh in on what's pretty and what's hurting your eyes? Post a comment or sign the guestbook with your thoughts.
edited to add: I put it back on the polka dots for a while. I like it better than the solid purple. If only I could find some purple polka dots.... LOL.
Has school started? No. Has the heat wave of summer broken? No. Is it too soon to plan for Halloween? Of course not!!!!!!!
Gabi's costume came in the mail today. Grandma's sewing machine is getting a break this year w/ a store bought costume. Couldn't resist showing you... the ballerina princess on a unicorn! If you're wondering, Micah has his cowboy costume ready, too; he just didn't want to put on a fashion show so you'll have to wait to see it!
Now that he is the big One AND a Half (as Gabi says), here's his stats: 31 inches tall and 23 pounds, both in the 10th-20th percentile range for a boy his age and right on for his growth curve. The doc said he looks great and was very impressed with how he could grab everyone's nose.
