Here are some pictures from the church's Facebook page (taken by Kaylea, the children's pastor) of Micah's MAD (Mission, Arts & Drama) Christmas party. They made ornaments, cookies, and valentines for soldiers.  (It takes a while for mail to get overseas so they made valentines instead of Christmas cards.)

Experiment Extremes

Micah wanted to make a funny science show on the computer, but he didn't want it to be here on the blog.  He wanted his own "channel."  So, I started him his own blog and yesterday we posted his first video.  Like this blog, it is "unlisted" so no one will find it by google search or random surfing; you have to know the address to find it.  So, you can click on the title to this post and make your way over to "experiment extremes."  I know he'd like it if you left him a comment on his show.

Comic Crazed

At 4:45, micah sat down for his afternoon snack and started reading a Super Friends comic book.


By 5:30, he'd moved on from the goldfish to an apple.... But was still engrossed in the comic book.



At 6 the comic book was nearly done and I stealthily slid some chicken nuggets next to the book.


I'm not sure he'll be aware of having eaten when the Super Friends are done saving the day.

The Playground Trail

Our new neighborhood has a cool trail. At one end is a playground:


















Then you follow the trail back...






Admiring people's bridges and backyards as you go.... Micah liked this one a lot:
