Family day

Mimi and poppy visited gab's class and Gramz visited Micah at kindergarten. Everyone got lunch and a tour of the school and both kids talked their grandparents into buying them stuff from the book fair.

Sorta Sickish

Micah can't breathe through his nose and has a little cough, so he spent the day in PJs watching Tv, playing video games, and hanging out. It's a miserable life. ;)

An American Girl

Our local library had an American Girl party today. Lots of girls came with their dolls. Gabi, of course, has been really enjoying reading the book series and had recently used her own money to buy a doll. Her doll is not actually the AG brand, but Gabi is smart and could tell that the $25 version is just as good if not cuter than the $100 dolls.




The library had all kinds of crafts and snacks for the big crowd of girls and dolls who came.


And books! Lots of books!


Gabi named her doll Samantha after her favorite AG book series.

Be Ours

We've spent part of our snow days prepping class Valentine cards.





Micah is giving karate valentines with Smarties rockets. He also decorated this card box for his homework this week:



It's decorated with heart rockets and the word L<3VE -- he insisted the O be a heart!



Gabi has two kinds of valentines:



iPods & iPhones. The iPods have scratch off messages.
You can peek under the apps:




She is ready to spread the love! Even wearing her valentine PJs while she works.



And of course spread more Smarties.

Sleds

We got a lot more snow as the afternoon went on-- see:
