Globetrotter

After eating at McDonalds, we took Micah & his buddy George to meet the whole family to watch the hilarious Harlem Globetrotters game. It was a close one, but the Globetrotter team managed to win the championship vs the International Elites. And there was a lot of giggling along the way.

The Big Game

Yep, today was the big game.






The big Lego quidditch game, of course. There wasn't some other big game causing all that traffic in town, right?






It was a close one, but Harry caught the snitch and the red team won.

Russellville Friends

It was Benjamin's birthday! We had a great time visiting friends. You can tell here the boys are plotting something... turns out the something involved throwing balls at little sisters.

It was tons of fun!

Meanwhile, Gabi went to visit her friend Emily (seen in this old post as well as in these party pictures) and friend Gracie (seen here and here) also came over.

Soccer & Cat Herding

Getting five year olds to play soccer seems a bit like herding cats, and getting them to pose for a team picture is even more so! See how Micah stays really engaged in watching his team when he's out of the game?
They did get a god picture of the team, though-- this is just my snapshot; I will scan and upload the official soccer pics soon.

Soccer

Micah just recently had his first soccer game. Here are some of the scenes from his first practice and first game. Oh, and: Five-year-olds playing soccer is funnier than Big Bang Theory. And that's pretty funny.

Gabi got to cheer at a jr high football game this weekend, much like last year when she cheered for the Whirlwinds. She and her friends had a blast and MiMi & Poppy came to the game, too.
